2015 Annual Conference Invitation to Attend

PRISM 2015 Annual Conference

PRISM International 2015 Annual Conference

Message from the Annual Conference Planning Chair

Christopher Powell JonesMy first PRISM Annual Conference, 5 years ago, was the reason I joined my father in business. Networking with folks who are passionate in our field—particularly those driven to innovate—led me to the realization that our industry has a lot more depth than my early years of carting boxes around led me to believe. This year, our Annual Conference Planning Task Group has made a commitment to use the trends inspiring us in our individual businesses to create a framework for the annual conference in Hill Country with the theme “Broadening Opportunities for Innovation.” We know you’ll be inspired by the trends we’ve identified and the speakers who begin the conversation May 17–20, 2015.

Our conference has a lot of great sessions and events, but I would like to point out a few highlights. Our opening keynote speaker Kaihan Krippendorff will address Innovating Across Eight Dimensions, which will set the stage for our six educational tracks, including the new track of information governance (IG). Legendary records and information management (RIM) consultant and author Dr. Bill Saffady will return to define IG and will stick around for the conference as a resource to our members. Beyond product and service innovation, we’ll introduce the first ever “Doing Business with Diversified Companies” dinner, during which we will discuss best practices regarding obtaining Women-Owned Small Business and other certifications and doing business with certified companies. Norm and Elaine Brodsky will join us for an unforgettable general session on family in business where you’ll have nowhere to hide in the crowd, and Tom Adams will moderate a panel of RIM consumers discussing their expectations for the future and what they need from our businesses now.

You’ll find the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa to be the perfect oasis for our rowdy bunch, with the beautiful room arrangements you’ve come to expect and centralized watering holes where you can tie up your horse to catch up with old friends while making new ones. The networking will be great, and the subject is what’s next. You can’t afford to miss it. Call PRISM Member Services or register online to reserve your spot today!

Looking forward to seeing y’all there!

Message from the President

Chris KelleyIt gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend the 2015 PRISM International Annual Conference. This year, our conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX. I’m appreciative of the time and effort our Annual Conference Planning Task Group dedicated to producing a solid and well-rounded educational program. Using feedback from attendees of the 2014 conference, the task group developed new and innovative learning opportunities, such as an information governance session track. The Annual Conference Planning Task Group continues to raise the bar of our educational offerings, ensuring there is something for every records and information management professional.

This year’s conference will again offer an unparalleled opportunity to learn from the brightest minds in our industry, exchange knowledge, and network with our peers. I am excited to learn from our keynote speakers Kaihan Krippendorff, William Saffady, and Elaine and Norm Brodsky.

As always, our exhibit hall will feature the latest and greatest products and services offered by our corporate partners as well as a number of fun activities. Be sure to clear your calendar on Tuesday to attend our annual business meeting, conference dinner, and enjoyable Last-Call Reception in the exhibit hall (which will include our prize drawing).

I encourage you to closely review this brochure because you won’t want to miss out on any of the excitement that this year’s conference offers. We anticipate our conference hotel block will sell out quickly, so please make your hotel reservations early. Also, do not forget to take advantage of the early registration discounts.

I look forward to seeing you there!
