May 5, 2016 - Livermore, CA -Rob Alston, CEO of Access, has announced the company’s acquisition of document management assets from Iron Mountain in 13 U.S. geographies. These are locations that had been operated by Recall until that company’s acquisition by Iron Mountain on May 1, 2016.
As part of Iron Mountain’s acquisition of Recall, the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division’s review identified 15 metropolitan areas where Iron Mountain was required to divest Recall’s document management operations given they were two of the three largest providers of document management services. After review, the Division approved Access as the buyer for 13 of the 15 geographies.

February 19, 2016 -Congratulations to Jeff Andrews, a 20 year member of PRISM International, for his recent election as President of the Rack Manufacturing Institute (RMI). Jeff is a vendor partner supplying archive racking systems to PRISM members since 1987. He is also the President of the Archive Systems Division of Elite Storage Solutions. December 22, 2015 – Livermore, CA - Archive Systems Inc., a unified document management company with global technology and document management customers, operating records centers in ten U.S. markets, and data centers in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, has been acquired by Access Information Management. This acquisition is the 95th for Access since its founding in 2004 and represents the company’s expansion in its existing markets of Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, New York Metro / New Jersey, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Seattle, Washington, Metro Washington D.C., and Portland, Oregon. Closing took place on December 16, 2015.
December 15, 2015 – Livermore, CA - Rob Alston, CEO of Access, has announced the company’s recent entrance into the Dallas and Fort Worth markets with the acquisition of Tindall Record Storage and into the Minneapolis market with the acquisition of Archives Corporation in Minneapolis.
